Hardmeier OÜ has renewed the Grade 3 certificates for FoxSec security devices.
Grade 3 represents a high security level and is used for solutions designed for higher-risk environments. Such sites include companies, warehouses, industrial buildings, and critical infrastructure facilities.
At Grade 3 level, it is assumed that a potential intruder has knowledge of security systems, uses specialist tools, and may try to manipulate the system in a targeted way. Therefore, devices must meet strict requirements for physical protection, communication channel security, reliability, and event monitoring.
For FoxSec solutions, this includes, among other things:
• tamper protection against opening, removal, and interference with connections
• enhanced protection for communication channels
• detection of faults and alarm conditions
• more detailed logging and event traceability
• reliability in demanding environments
Renewing the certificate every three years is an important part of the product lifecycle. During this process, it is assessed whether the device continues to meet current requirements, whether the documentation is up to date, and whether the production process supports the same level of quality.
Security technology is developing quickly. At the same time, attack methods and tools are also evolving. Regular certification gives customers confidence that the solution in use is not based only on previous compliance, but has also been checked against today’s requirements.
FoxSec’s goal is to provide integrated intrusion alarm and access control systems that are suitable for both smaller sites and large-scale environments with increased security requirements.
The renewal of the Grade 3 certificate confirms that FoxSec solutions continue to meet the requirements of European security standards and are designed for sites where reliability and security level are critical.
